Prepare some tantalizing chocolate chip cookies with a Caribbean twist.
1 cup of flour 1/2 tsp. of salt 1/2 tsp. of baking powder 1/2 cup of butter 1 large egg 1 tsp. of vanilla essence 1 cup of chocolate chips 5 tbsp. of granulated sugar 1/2 cup of cashew nuts
- Combine salt, baking soda and flour.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla essence.
- Add flour mixture and combine thoroughly.
- Stir in chocolate chips and cashew nuts.
- Drop by teaspoons 2″ apart on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees F (preheated) for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
