Deutschelinne?? recipe request

I'm looking for a German recipe my mother-in-law described to me. She wasn't sure of the name: Deutschelinne or Deutschelinte???

Made with frozen bread dough, thawed and part put in bottom of pan, then a layer of sugar/cinnamon and the rest of the dough and more sugar/cinnamon and then a milk mixture of some sort. Then baked.

Sounds like a type of bread pudding to me but made with store-bought bread dough.

Does anyone have a recipe for something like this?

Hi Paula,

hmmm, you don't give me much to go on, but you can searching this excellent site (German I'm afraid)

formatting link
can look for combinations of ingredients as well as in categories, just fiddle with the webaddress.Searching for a combination of "Teig" (dough), "Zimt" (cinnamon), "Zucker" (sugar) and "Milch" (milk) produced about 70-odd recipies, none of them resembling "Lint" or "Linne".Was it a desert, or something you have with coffee? When you have "tapped" your Mother-in-law for more info, maybe I can help you find and maybe translate a recipe.Bye,

Jan
