"WOW" ..I love "Chocolate Brownies"
50 g Butter
100 g Caster sugar50 g Walnuts, chopped
50 g Self-raising flour2 item Egg, beaten Chocolate brownies

1=2E Preheat the oven to 180 =B0C / Gas 4. Lightly grease an 18 cm shallow square cake tin, and then line with greaseproof paper.2=2E Put a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Break the chocolate into pieces in the bowl and add the butter and sugar. Heat gently until melted, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
Advice: For a delicious alternative use pecan nuts instead of walnuts. Chop them and use as you would the walnuts.
3=2E Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl and add the walnuts. Gradually beat in the chocolate mixture and eggs. Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 30 minutes or until the cake is just beginning to shrink from the sides of the tin.4=2E Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin. Cut into 9 portions and serve. Freezer: layer the brownies in a rigid container between sheets of greaseproof paper.
Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature.
