A contest, sort of! LOL Wanna Play?

OK supposedly my mortgage is going thru the end of this month, and most will go towards home repairs/upgrades so I can sell my house.

BUT I've decided since I'm the one who's going to pay the $$ back, I want to splurge some on ME!!!

I've always wanted to buy some really lovely, kool, awesome lampwork, but the really good stuff is always out of sight pricewise.

Now I'm going for at least 1 set that really sings...

So here's the "contest" part:

Which lampwork artist would YOU buy if money was no object, and why? Be sure to include links to the auctions/sites you like the best.

This ought to generate some great eye candy, if nothing else, and help narrow down the field somewhat. Of course, you don't actually win anything... but my undying love and respect!

Wanna play?

You know, what I am going to say is going to sound real weird (coming from me) but I don't buy lampwork any more. I'm completely into stones these days. Always was, but I used to do lots and lots of lampwork.

And, I only have one person on my "must have" list:

In addition to that statement, there is only one lampwork bead I have kept for myself and I still pull it out and wonder over it. Just did it the other day. It is in the top tray of my stacked trays, which hold crystals, silver and right now, one tray of pendants as I am doing special orders for Christmas. And that bead is one I bought for my birthday several years ago from Madcatbeads. I paid $75 for it and would not trade it for the world. It is a naked woman in a garden, with the female form wrapped around a large pear shaped tab bead, and matted. I love matte beads. I went to her website -- similar to her "nature" beads on this site. It says she is not taking orders right now for health reasons, but check back. The wait is worth it.

I have several sets of Pati Walton's beads. She and they are awesome. I gave in a few years ago and bought one of her floral focals with the butterfly. I don't wear it all that much, but I take it out and gaze at it when things get tough. I usually try to buy one awesome bead when I get my tax refund each year - so far I have collectible beads from Kristen Franzen Orr, Pati Walton, Lori Greenberg, Cindy Lemmo, and Kim Affleck. I still want one of John Olson's (he's married to Pati) ghost beads, that's on my wish list.

Oh Holy Crap. That little Odessy took me again to Carolyn Boucles site, and look what i found! The bead I have is similar to the "Goddess bead" on this page, except mine is wrapped around a flat tab garden bead:
