AD: JC Herrell Glass auctions ending soon ~ more 24 karat dots!

I've been spending a lot of time at the torch lately! It's the only place warm enough for me in Wisconsin!!! Brrr! Here's an all-purpose link for ya'll:

Ending Sunday night, Horicon. It's a really rich set in lapis blue, coral and opal yellow with luster accents named after the largest fresh water marsh in the states:

Fall Blush, another richly colored set with luster accents on black, coral and powder pink, ends on Monday:

Night Out ends on Tuesday. This is my second offering with 24 karat gold dots, which I am falling in love with! This set is classic black and white, which totally shows of the gold!

A sister set of Night Out is Night In, which ends on Wednesday. This set is in black, opal yellow and luster, which is only slightly more casual than Night Out.

I just listed two other sets, one of which is Falling. Shiny clear dots magnify lightly traced patterns in raku against satin etched periwinkle blue:

Santa Fe is a smaller set in etched blue, grey and copper green with shiny luster dots.

Thanks for taking a look, friends! Now it's back to the torch with me! JC

Gorgeous beads, JC!!! "Night Out" just knocks my socks off!!! And you're more than welcome to send some of that cool weather down here to Florida! I can't wait for that first crisp Autumn breeze....=o) ....but when it finally happens, I'll probably be passed out from the heat....LOL!

I have to say, JC, that waking up this morning to find I'd been outbid on Horicon just made my heart sink into my shoes.

I haven't met a set of beads I loved as much as those and I am now KICKING myself for not bidding higher before I went to bed.

That said, congrats on a gorgeous set of beads and a great price. :-D

I know that there are more stunning JC beads in my future, I can't wait to see them arrive from the waiting room.

Thank you, David! I love that my style of beads grabs you! That's just great! Horicon is really special. One of my favorite places in Wisconsin. Even though I don't like living here, there are some seriously great places. I know when Horicon starts to get busy because HUGE flocks of geese are squeaking (and pooping) over my house!

Thanks, Dawn! Night Out is one of my favs, too. I will gladly send some of the chilly air to you, but you'll have to send some nice warm stuff to me!

Su... I felt so bad for you when I saw how Horicon ended. I know how badly you wanted them. I didn't go to Horicon this weekend as planned so I don't even have pictures to forward to you. It just wasn't supposed to be, I guess. Thank you though for your kindness.

You know, JC, I almost cried! LOL, I was so taken by that set. But I know that you'll have something else just as wonderful coming up.

It wasn't meant to be, you're right.

I'll keep my eye out for a set from the Kettle Moraine.

There was just something about those beads that set them apart, perhaps it was the Marquette colour theme? :-D

Anyway, I can't wait to see what comes up next from the waiting room.

The waiting room! LOL. I just said that to Adam last night (asking him to put some beads back in the waiting room) and he didn't know what that was! Then I showed him your post and now he feels guilty that someone thousands of miles away knows where the waiting room is and he didn't. He went and bought me an ice cream treat. So, Su... Thank you for last night's wonderful Butterfinger blizzard (not like it's not cold enough here).

I didn't even notice the Marquette colors... And the kettles, as you know, is my most favorite place in WI... so it won't be long. Maybe a Mount Dundee set? I'll mull that over...

Butterfingers!

Ack ack arrrgh!

I'm ok now.

I used to ride in the moraines, there was a great little livery stables there. Some day I plan to have a nice fall ride there again. I know about the Marquette colours because my dad was a prof there for many years and I went there for one mad, wonderfully mis-spent year as a freshman waaaaaaaay long ago.

Don't worry, Adam. It's only because I geek over JC's beads that I know about the waiting room! I can't wait to see what comes out next.
