AD: Something's stirring in the Great Black Swamp - Tink

I'm getting ready to leave for The Big Meeting, and wanted to post here before I left. I can feel the great vibes from you guys surrounding me like a security blanket! I'm nervous, as this could mean huge changes for my business, but no matter what happens the process has been good for me.

Oh, and I actually have an auction up for a change! Yay! The consulting team requested that I have an auction up today so that the funder could see an actual auction of my beads in place. Bleah. I know I will get scolded by him for starting it at 99 cents, but that tends to work out fine for me and it saves some $ on eBay fees. LOL!

I'm back. Exhausted. Flabbergasted. Did I say exhausted?

I did it. I really did it! I'm being granted everything I asked for, and more besides! I had asked for $500 for glass. They said they did the math and felt that $2,000 was more appropriate! Tools, a second torch, a new kiln, a new camera, ads in Bead and Button, The Gathering, my training with Robert Mickelsen, a ventilation system, boro glasses, an oxygen generator, a natural gas line for my torch, books... Too much to mention.

And they thanked me for the opportunity to work with them. Can you beat that????

And then they took me to dinner :-)

LOL! How did you KNOW??? I'd been saving them to wear today. Even borrowed a pair of Prairieson's huge wool socks to wear with them in case they were prone to give me blisters, but no probs. Yes. They were afraid. Very afraid.

Yeah, right. I think they thought I was (ick) *cute*.

I think I mentioned once that you're my new role model, Tink :) Congratulations! This is lovely to see and I can't imagine it could have happened for anyone who deserves it any more than you do.

Yikes! Do they allow glass beads in JAIL???? I don't think murder will be necessary. LOL! I just put another set up on eBay.

Thanks so much for your praise... Now that the dog and pony show is over, there's a little part of me wondering if I've bit off more than I can chew. Reading your words makes me feel POWERFUL!
