AD (sortof): have a look at what is being donated to the Artisan and Glassworker Legal Fund

Hi all,

I know I have posted about this before, but this defamatory attack on lampworkers and other artisans is still going on. I don't have a stake in this other than that (some of) these are my friends (and one of the donations is mine). The collection of what is being donated can be found here:

There's a lot of very pretty lampwork beads as well as some other things, mostly on Etsy. Thanks! Maren HiloBeads: Beads - Beading Supplies - Hand-made Jewelry Website:

Maren, do you know if that idiot woman was investigated and does she have all her ducks in a row? It would be pretty ironic to find out that the idiot who is attacking all these people is guilty of doing some of the same things she is charging others of doing.

I have to wonder what she is getting out of all this? Why is she doing this? To me, it just makes no sense, but then again, who knows whats in the mind of an idiot?

There's some legal action going on - which is what the legal fund is for -.

Not everybody who is donating items has been attacked (I haven't, for one, I'm just helping out - well, that's for all I know of. Hawaii Dept of taxation may have looked at their files, decided "small fry" and not gone any further - you don't have to be a great lampworker to get attacked, some of the victims don't have anything to do with beads or any sort at all), and not everybody who has been attacked has donated items.

Some people may have donated money, some may not know they have been attacked by blog, some have gotten phone calls or visits from their local tax and/ or fire departments without having been mentioned on the blog. It is rather certain that this individual has in the past bought lampwork beads from others and sold them as their own.

It is not clear to anybody involved (that I know of) what this person is getting out of this.

Not sure this explains anything, but it's a bit of background.
