another wire picture!

I liked the earrings I made in class, so I wanted to try them in silver. Then I wanted to try making them wider. Then I wanted to try a gold and silver pair, since I have a gold and silve bracelet that I wear all the time.

The top two on the left are some caged stones. DD has a wonderful collection of little tumbled rocks, and they're great for putting in cages. I gave her the one with the green stone because I went and took one of her stones when she wasn't home (easier to ask forgiveness than permission), but now I have permission to raid her stones whenever I want ;)

Hi Susan,

I was thinking about trying it that. way. I think it'd be pretty. Of course, then I started thinking, "And if you put beads on the wires................."

Thank god I swallowed *before* I read that, or lemonade would have shot out my nose. There was a dangerous moment as it was.

I've done that and the hardest part is to get the separation without distortion. If you use beads I found it best to use ones that could nest or spoon in a brick like pattern on the wires. Or hang a bead from the bottom. Susan W
