Hi Everyone, We are thinking about getting a 5" bead mill, has anyone had experience with these? Do you know the approx times per grit stage? How much difference in times is there between say agate, and Obsidian. Are they worth getting? Thanks in advance for any info. Dan
I haven't bought one but reading up on it seems like it would not be economical, depending what you pay for rough. You have to grind the stone into a rough sphere, then use the mill, then tumble polish it. It can only do 20 beads at a time. Unless you get great deals on rough and electricity. Electricity costs a fortune here.
