Beaded cab

Hi all,

I think it was here recently, someone was talking about beaded cabochons and I wanted to try one with polyclay.

I just finished it last night and wanted to post a pic.

I don't know yet if it's going to turn into a necklace or a pin.

Have a look.

Hi Carla...

That is so pretty. The seed bead color goes quite well with the cabochon. You did a great job. :)

I always find it amazing how everybody makes so different things. I like it and I can see it on you, whether as a necklace or as a pin, but at the same time it's very much 'not me'.

Carla,

That's lovely!! It would be great as either a pin or a necklace!! The polyclay looks like porcelain.

Very nice!

Thanks, Maren,

Oh, it's 'not me', either :) I almost never wear necklaces *or* pins; for me, it's earrings; lots and lots of earrings. And in the summer - bracelets :)

I make a lot of stuff as gifts or for sale, and hope I can find a recipient or customer who will like it.

Thanks, Jerri :)

Next up, is doing it on a smaller scale, maybe several for a bracelet.

Cheers, Carla

I could see either or both on you. Me, wearing my watch, glasses and key chain around my neck neither would work.

Me too, earrings, and any kind of bangle bracelets (hence the memory wire in mine. I can't deal with bracelets that don't stay where I put them.)

I do too, but so far I have very rarely made things that I wouldn't be comfortable wearing (and you have seen me wearing about a dozen memory wore bracelets at one time. Very few of those made it back home. I don't mind wearing a dozen bracelets as long as they stay where I put them.)

Too fun. Maybe I should try making things I'd never wear.

I could never do that .... but then, I tried some wire wrapping sea glass for a bracelet (that, admittedly I would never wear, but then, I didn't finish it either.
