My daughter, Elayne, lives in downtown Vancouver and she is very interested in learning how to do chain maille. She told me a week or so ago that she had been looking into various courses at colleges, etc., but that the courses cover more than just that subject. So if I hear any more, I will let you know.....and vice versa, please. She does work at BC Institute of Technology, so I am guessing there is nothing there.

I learned from a kit from Urban Maille. They are very good!

There's some good sites on the web. I've used these two a lot.

I also like the book Great Wire Jewelry. The first part of the book is Viking Knit, and the latter part is Chain Maille. It's a good, inexpensive, little book.
