Thank you all for your birthday greetings.

I woke up to a horrible wet stormy day with strong winds and heavy rain. That put off plans for going far. I had a lot of cards some with money in for my birthday gift. Since at the age of 71 they find it difficult to buy me things, they would not want to get the wrong things. We went food shopping in the morning, then in the afternoon I went to a computer class on Digital Imaging a birthday gift from my DH. I should be able to produce better pictures for my website when it is over. I had two lots of flowers. We went out to dinner in the evening.

My grand daughter bought me a Fiskars shape cutter to help wit all the wedding stationery that I am making for her forthcoming wedding. I am doing all the invites, order of service, menu cards and place name cards.

Also I am doing the cake for her.

Unfortunately I shall not be able to go to Kenya next month. Too risky after my recent health scare. I would be too much of a liability. I am disappointed but that is the way the cookie crumbles.

However all the beads I collected along with the knitting things and clothes have gone to them. JB told me they were having problems clearing it in Kenya with the authorities because there were two Land Rovers in the container. JB will sort it when he goes in 4 weeks time. I have heard that the orphan girls sat their exams before Christmas and are now waiting to hear the results. I wish them all well.
