I found a site with really pretty beads and...

I was wondering if anyone here makes these and also.. how long does it take to make one of these? I really love these for their shape and also there are many of them listed that I love. I wish I had a bag of money. Thanks.

You do not come even close to being the dumbest. Nope.. not by a long shot. Have you ever been awarded an honorable mention in the darwin awards? I rest my case then. Thanks Harry... oh.. i just dropped my eyes from this window to the beads... smelling salts.. where are they???? PLOP! *sound of me falling off backwards off the chair* Diana

Those are pretty easy Harry. I can make one of those beads in under a minute. Then all you have to do is wait for them to be annealed and let them bath in etching solution from 10-15 minutes. Very easy and it's one of my favorite colors.

< {{{ cough }}}... Ahem... How much do you think it would cost... let's say... someone... to have a rainbow assortment of them made... maybe just a bit larger? :)) Cobalt Blue is my favorite color BTW. lol

I would think being consistent would be the difficult part and Liz is very consistent and industrious!

I have some of her babies as well as some of her fancier beads. Nother slap dash about them. She is very skillful.

Nah, we do that all the time. :) These beads are simple etched spacers in lapis cobalt opaque glass, and the price she is asking for them is pretty much the going rate. :) Bid on those babies!

Etched transparent cobalt - sooooo pretty!

Yep, that's the tough part. I usually make twice as many spacers to get a good match on size.

That she is, Tina. So are you on her email list too?
