Lamp work bead sets, for show and critique, not for sale

So this isn't an ad. I don't have a kiln yet and I'm not going to sell un-annealed beads. And I can't see why people here would buy them anyway, but as we're lacking beady posts, here are some lampwork sets:

my first beads (I may have posted those before):

I thought I had taken pictures of more of them, but apparently I didn't.

I did sell 3 at an artists fair at Hio Art and Glass, but other than the petrol green one I don't remember what color they were. They'll get batch annealed when I get my kiln (yay, I ordered a kiln) - and some will probably break in the process.

But, yeah, I've been too busy programming (work), being sick (I really honestly hate spider bites), selling clove seeds, applying and interviewing to become the head of our group at work, trying to clean up the yard, craft fairs, and, admitting this, in the last week or so Lampwork Etc., to be around here much. I've checked and read posts, but I didn't feel much like posting anything new. I hope to be back more often and post some new stuff - if the weather ever allows me to take picture again. It's dark here. I think we may have broken the "low high temperature for the day today. It did get up to 70F, which is balmy for most of you, but here in the tropics it means you'll have the lights on all day because it's as dark as at 54 North (where I'm from in Germany) in November.

So there's a bit of an update on me as well :-)

They look pretty good for first attempts. I am sure you will get better as you go along.

It sounds to me as if you are burning the candle at both ends. Slow down girl

The thought of spiders makes me shudder. Good luck with getting the head of your group. Hugs Shirley

been doing that for a long time. DD called in between, being rather worn out. One thing I really can't figure out is who calls who to figure out what?

Good as first attempts, esp. size and shape as you got a little more experience. Much better than the first beads I made, lol!
