Leah Fairbanks beads and necklace

Someone asked me to post pictures of the Leah Fairbanks' beads I have. I won the first one at our Bead Society's annual dinner. It was a great consolation to me since I broke my foot the next day. Here is the necklace I made with it and a closeup of the bead:

Thank you so much to Jerri for hosting these pictures for me. I have to access rcb through Usenet and they don't let you post pictures.

Thank you, Vicki and Jerri for your compliments. Now I just have to get with it and design a necklace for the other bead. Leah often uses multistrands of pearls in the necklaces she designs to go with her beads. I think I'll bring the bead to WBS and see if she has any ideas. I did buy some faceted burgundy pearls, but the pink in the bead is a little delicate, I'm not sure they go. I was thinking of pale pink stick pearls. I'll let you know.

This cold/allergy/whatever it is has sapped my creative energy. However, bead shopping should get it back - that way I can blame it on medical expenses, lol.

Have a great weekend, all.
