Long lost Etsy beads.....they arrived!!

Hi All.....

I had mentioned a while back that a small order from the US had gone AWOL. It was from Carol who advertises her Etsy store on here sometimes.....and it was just a couple of small things. I had bought from her before and it took a couple of weeks for delivery.

Well....she sent them on Nov. 14th, 2007 and I just got them today.......3 months and a week later!!!!! 100 days, give or take!!

Two other parcels I was waiting for had arrived in exactly 13 days, so I figured I would never see Carol's one. And she had everything done properly.....her return address was also on there, and a customs declaration, and it hadn't been opened.

I don't know what the problem was or what the answers are for those of us who shop cross-border. I know Carol isn't impressed with her local post office and has had problems with them before. And my P.O. ladies tell me that Customs inspects about 1 in 10 packages, so you never know.

So I am baffled to say that even with all of the proper forms and a return address and so on......the post office still manages to screw things up. Probably on both sides of the border. Does this happen with things shipped to you all from Canada??

Just thought I should let you all know in case you have a problem with late or missing cross-border packages. Wish I had some answers for you though.
