magazine question

We've moved to a MUCH SMALLER place, so I'm redoing and re-thinking my studio. I think some of my magazines have to go. :-( So........I've got "Bead & Button" and "Beadwork," and I'm this close to just taking them all to Goodwill. So I'm asking, is there any "market" for these mags? For example, I've got B&B issues #12 - #58 inclusive, but don't know if people even buy back issues. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!! - Susan in DC

Most magazines like this you can unload for at least a $1 a piece some will go for more. Your best bet is to sell them via bead group rather than someplace like Ebay. I find going this route get rid of them much quicker and with less hassle.

I've seen them on ebay. I might be interested in some of the Beadwork issues.

People do buy back issues of both B&B and BW, and I have seen them listed on eBay and Etsy. You could even list them here as an "AD."

I'm interested. If you don't list them here, please e-mail me. (zkzookeeper AT gmail DOT com).

No, my Beadwork is from '96 to '03, sorry. :-( And I think I have a buyer for the whole lot! :-)

Have you got your studio set up yet?

Hi, Tina. Thanks for asking --> no. :-) I've made some more space, so that's good, but I'm still going thru stuff to figure out what to donate, what to sell, and there's still more stuff in storage! Some days it feels like it's never gonna end! :-) But having the magazines go was a big help. [Thank you Kathy!]

I have a box I put all my Don't Keeps in. I have some things mixed in that will go for kids' crafts and/or the local shelter -- jewelry with wonky or un-annealed beads, and stones with small or off center holes, etc.

With all I've done, I'm surprised my box of finished projects isn't larger or my bead boxes aren't emptier. On the other hand, more beads are in the boxes they belong on. And they fit there better.
