stop grey popup windows on PC's Win 2000, ME and XP!!!
a bead friend's hubby told me about this and it works - it's a default setting that windows puts in for the messages to get through.
Go to START Menu
SETTINGS
Control Panels
Administraitive tools
SERVICES
In there - find messenger
Right click on there to properties
Under start up type - DISABLE
Then click STOP
Then OK
Makes the grey pop ups go away!
