New Pictures

I've added another batch of photos to my web page. I'm especially pleased with the Coral necklace and the Garnet Elegance.

Kathy, Very nice - I like that chartreuse fiber optic with the lampwork, I see that color and always wonder, what would you do with it? Now I know!

That is interesting.. and if you ever figure out why there is a difference Id be curious to know what it is. I like both of your artistic endeavors...written and beaded. Maybe it is because your written work is so much more intimate and personal to you? Diana

My baby leaves tomorrow (Friday). We spent the evening horsing around, watching movies and getting in some bonding before she leaves. I've decided it's much easier to be the one leaving than the one left behind.

My mom booked these tickets, because I was too ill to do so when she was ready to make reservations. I should have forced myself to find the flights

-my mom is (in)famous for picking the least desirable connections, airlines and flight times to save almost no money. In this case, she's got herself and DD booked on a flight that leaves at 5 p.m. Friday (trying to get to Logan airport on a Friday afternoon is an exercise in frustration), has a change of plane in Philadelphia and won't get to Germany until noon on Saturday. Ugh.

Why did she choose that flight? Because it was $8 cheaper than a direct flight that leaves Boston at 9 pm. and gets you to Germany by 7 a.m. the next day. Eight bucks. And she wonders why I wanted to just out and out buy the tickets for the two of them -- if I'm paying, I'm choosng, and they'd have a much less strenuous journey.

I consider Boston to be a "Northern" city, but in actuality, we're closer to the equator than to the North Pole.

Me too.
