Newbie...

Hi everyone

Just a short intro...

Some of you may know me from PCC Delphiforums and MSATClayArt. I'd like to partake in this group too, if that's okay!

I've been making beads and jewellery for some years now. I've got a tute at Sculpey which you may have seen. (Egyptian style 3-strand choker)

Thanks and I'm looking forward to meeting you all

Amanda

Thanks for the warm welcome, Carol and Diana!

Fancy that, your niece being called Amanda Rose too! My mother used to say to her best friend Rosie Cook, when they were children, that if she had children one day, she would name a little girl after her. She decided on Amanda because of a soap opera we have over here called Coronation Street, in which one of the characters remarked that in a certain upper class area they call their children Amanda! So Rose was demoted to second place! She still watches the soap religously and so do I!

Glad you liked my albums and thanks for looking.

Welcome Amanda!

Enjoyed the pictures of both your work (lovely!) and Cornwall ~ looking even more charming than I remember it to be ...(if that's possible!)

Lots of good fun and friendship to be found here not to mention a knowledge base amongst the group that'll knock your sox off! lol!

Looking forward to seeing you here now and again!

Welcome, I love your work, and you have my very favorite name in the world. My DD is another Amanda Rose, and is 13 years old.

Thank you Shirley and Barbara for the welcome!

Where in the UK are you Barbara?

I always live in the hope that one day I'll get to clay with some people in my country. Sadly there are not so many of us over here who clay, as on the other side of the pond! Being in Cornwall makes it difficult to get to any guild meetings elsewhere.

That was my favorite too. And being in Alaska, believe me, I'm very picky about auroras!
