My son just called me. My grandson is due this coming Tuesday and my daughter-in-law started bleeding heavily today. At first she thought maybe it was the mucus plug, but the bleeding was heavy and continuous. They're at the hospital now and the doctor says there's quite a bit of blood in the birth canal. She's having contractions, not strong ones, she described them "like menstrual cramps." They have her hooked up to a monitor and a fetal monitor, and they're keeping her overnight to run tests and for observation. Please say a prayer that everything is okay and my healthy grandson will be here on time.
