OT: My most recent work

I marked this as OT, because it is not bead related in anyway. I haven't beaded in a while. I am waiting on some beads from Out on a Whim which should be here this week.

Anyway, my sister, who just graduated from the University of New Haven in CT with a degree in Chemical Engineering, has landed a job in a civilian position with the army as a Safety Specialist or something like that. She has to move to Texas for a while, and I wanted to make her something for her new place, so I made her a wreath. Please be forewarned, there absolutely NO beads on this what so ever, but I wanted you guys to see it and get your opinions.

That is really lovely. Anyone would be proud to hang that up in their home. Shirley

Lovely - I agree with Sooz, though. The Organza ribbon is too light - need something with a bit more heft, or at least, less transarency. Maybe some raffia?

I think what would look even better is perhaps a blue or red gingham check ribbon, a little narrower than the organza ribbon.

Thank you all for the comments. The ribbon is unfortunatly attatched with hot glue and therefore is not exactly removable. I hope my sister likes it as much as you guys do.
