My oldest grandson (8) will be here from NY for 2 weeks this summer. WooHoo!!! I'm starting to look for things to do that don't cost a fortune and don't involve TV, Video games, movies, amusement parks - you get the picture! Acoustic fun. We did this last year and I thought I'd share the adventure with you. Not only do you get to be outside all day in the woods, getting dirty and having a picnic where no one minds if little boys are full of energy and life, but you go home with buckets of no kidding amethyst, garnets, amazonite, all manner of quartz...... Here is a fabulous place to take the kids.
