Wonderful piece, Kandice!

I was reading the text on that page, and something jumped out at me. You say "Even though I kind of feel like a walking advertisement. But it's not intentional, I swear! "

Well now, darn it girl! Being a walking advertisement SHOULD be intentional, and it IS a good thing and there is nothing wrong with it and you should be proud! How lucky we are to be able to haul our work around with us! What if you were a stump carver for a living? You know, those guys who carve bears out of tree stumps with a chainsaw? It would be really hard to carry your work around with you. Luxuriate in the fact that your art is portable, and use your body as a living easel!

Well said, Tink!!

When I know I'm going to be around a group of people (larger than 3!), I wear what I make or wear what others have made. Someone always asks where I purchased what I'm wearing! What better way to let people know what you do? Besides, wearing what you make shows confidence in your own abilities. This is not lost on the potential future customers.

You beat me to it, Tink -- I was thinking the exact same thing! If *I* don't want to wear my own work, why should anyone else?

Kandice, the bracelet is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! You should buy a whole new wardrobe just to go with it so you can wear it every day. :-)

I agree - here's what I've been wearing lately after deciding I needed to keep some beads for myself to make something with:
