The toggle clasp that I adapted to thread the leather through keeps it in place to. I love to design findings, so oddly enough, that tiny little fitting is the bit that gives me the most satisfaction!

I have some of the flowers that inspired the piece hanging to dry in my studio, seeing them hanging there gave me the idea to make an upside down composition suitable for a lariat.

Thanks Kathy. I don't think she's getting it back, I may have another home for it!

Carol -- it is "simply" lovely. Now you must wear it!

Carol that is simply beautiful. I could imagine that being worn by elegant ladies in the 1920's.. Shirley

*gasp* Something we *don't* have in common! I tend to wear, and therefore make, quite simple, elegant pieces. I do love the rich, embellished pieces I see on this newsgroup and would love to make more ornate stuff, but I would only wear it on special occasions and therefore I find it difficult to design such pieces.

Yep, it appears we really do differ on this, Helen. I wear pretty *loud* clothes, and generally make jewelry to match. It can be a bit much for some people's tastes, LOL!

And I make, and wear, elegant, complicated, embellished pieces. The best of both worlds.
