Would you know where I can buy good tools, ( pliers), for beading, crimping, wire wrapping and the ones with the flat? ends? I would love to buy them in a kit if that's possible? Thank you again.

Connie Fox has good tools and sells them for a bit less than Rio Grande. Heed her advice about buying good tools because you can ruin cheap ones in a week or two. Here's her addy:

I've gotten most of my tools at Rio Grande. May I suggest that you get their catalogue and a few others.

It would probably be a good idea to start a thread about tools. It's such a big subject. I have tools that cost $20 each, and I have some sets that cost $20. You have to decide what you want. Also, I use rough jawed pliers (that grip better) for a lot of my work, but have the necessary smooth jawed pliers that I use exclusively for wire wrap. You will probably want several pairs of "dikes" (diagonal cutters) too, for different hardnesses of hardness of what's being cut. Eg, a perfect pair for sterling wire, a different pair for unknow material that might mar your blades, etc. Same for scissors. I have my heavy Gingher scissors for leather and for multiple layers, kids' Fiskars for spectra fiber and for travelling, little sharp pointed ones, etc.

And copper beads and spacers!! Connie has steadily increased her inventory and her wire is fairly priced and her twisted wire is perfect.

There's some stuff they don't have, but what they do have is fantastic and their service has always been great.

(I still have to go elsewhere for most of my Silamide, seed beads and larger beads)

vj found this in rec.crafts.beads, from "Kandice Seeber" :

]Well, that was easy! Links list now has a table of contents with clickable ]links to each section. Should make things a lot easier to find.
