Stringing material question

Hello everyone - I am in New Zealand and have limited access to retail outlets here selling stuff. All the same today I purchased some very soft stringing material that I thinksounded like Soft Flex. The salesperson seemed reluctant to actually tell me what it was. She dispensed it by the metre from the spool and it seemed expensive to me. It was NOT tiger tail, and I liked that it stayed flexible and did not crink up II wonder if you all know what I mean here?)

I want to put in an order with a US mail order beading company that will post my order to a friend in Conn. who is coming to New Zealand for Christmas and will bring it back with him. I am not really very sure of some of the American terms for the items I want. I know this souncs a bit silly, but I do need help.

The flexible stuff I liked was able to sustain reasonably sized beads. I have a spool of tiger tail (7 strand) and I know what it does. I also have Corso waxed bead stringing spools, and know what that does also. It is this flexible stringing material that I am unsure of.

I wonder if someone can help me here before I put in an order. I also want to get some E-6000 craft glue but the company I want to use because of its vast range of other things doesn't seem to sell this. What is the best alternative please?

I'd appreciate some help here.

Cheers

I think you want Accu Flex or Soft Flex wire in 49 strand (7x7), it's great stuff. You will find the E-6000 at Firemountain too, the 2nd link.

Yes, Daisy... when Firemountain says something costs $3.00 each for

3-5 items, and $2.25 for 6-9 items... it means that if you order 7 of the same item, you will get it for $2.25 _each_. A quantity discount, if you will. Good luck finding everything you need! :) Linda
