Hi Lisa,

I just got this same machine last week and I found the video that was included to be a great help in getting started. I have practiced on every linen napkin in my closet and it really is very simple.

Did you have a specific question?

Lisa, I am about as new as you are so I would suggest just sitting and looking at what you want to stitch. Can you get the little outfit in the hoop without the back getting stitched too? If you can't, you will have to open a seam, I guess. Maybe someone else will have a better idea.

I have been just playing...trying the same design on several different fabrics with different stabilizers so I could get a feel for what looks best and how the machine handles each fabric. Tomorrow I start a "real" project!

Good luck. Pearl

Lots of embroiderers use sticky stabilizer instead of hooping. You can read how to do it here, just pretend they are using a small hoop.
