Another newbie question

Can I use interfacing material in place of stabilizer? I have lots of it, and it is cheaper.

Interfacing is NOT a stabilizer I developed all of John Solomon's stabilizers and I am redeveloping many and some new ones w HTC What you want to achieve in the hoops is a "tambourine skin" type tension A "wet laid" non directional dense non woven is the best way to achieve this

layer of the proper weight for your stitch count and densityRe coffee filters etcAll of our stabilizers are needle friendly - they are made w silicone addedas a needle lubricantPaper will dull your needles and you will get excessive lint (non wovenshave acrylic binders)There is a good valid reason for commercial stabilizersDo NOT skimp here! Use the proper STABILIZER!

Pls e-mail me off list for samples
