Hi, I bought the 300E. It is awesome. The other two hoops will definitely not work with the machine but, the dealer does seem to think that it will be upgraded within the yr. That's fine with me. Okay, he is the downside! My embrid software will not work on the

300E, eventhough it has the same jef format. So, now I will have to either wait for a patch, hopefully if it ever comes out or will have to buy the customizer 10000plus! another possible downsied, I don't know if the amazing box will work with this machine. Originally I figured that the jef formated card will work, but, who knows, the embrid jef format didn't work.

Hi Rochelle, thanks for the info, why doesnt the embird software not work with it? does the machine not recognise anything that has been done in embird? I have just come back from the dealers, and I will be back in there tomorrow, he still doesnt have the machine yet but as soon as the machine is in the shop he is going to try the free arm hoop in it. Janome have said it wont work, but this morning he looked at the hoop and says he cant see any reason why it shouldnt work with the 300E, but will have to wait until the machine is there. As you say though they will be upgrading software for the machine at least the machine will not be outdated as soon as the next model is brought out.

The good side if the amazing box wont work with it is that you are not looking at spending a lot of money to buy the pcmcia adaptor and the writer, we can get everything in the uk for £20 so it would be cheaper than that in the states. I have took back the 300E leaflet to the shop so I havent got that for reference any longer, does the 300E have a usb connector? if it does then you should be able to get designs direct to the machine by cable connection rather than needing the cards at all?

Hi,

I sent this message once before so this may be a duplicate. I had gotten an error message. anyway, the freearm hoop won't work because the machine is not programmed for it and therefore won't find the middle of the hoop. I still need my embird software to be able to size my designs, etc. I was told that the amazing box WILL work with a 10000 card. Hooray for me. Eventually I will get software for the machine, but, for now, the box will do the trick. I did get the clothsetter and the dealer threw in the F hoop, excellent spring hoop. I paid less than $1000 (us $) The machine is great.
