Does anyone know how the Buzztool Stitch Editor compares with the one put out by Husqvarna? I know that Buzztool's is considerably less costly.
Thanks in advance

So is Embird and you can convert from any embroidery file to any kind too.

Well, almost any kind. I have tried the Embird demo and as far as I can see, it won't convert to HV's SHV format. My wife has a Viking 1 and that's all that it uses :-(

I've heard that Smart Sizer Gold is the only one that converts to SVH.

I think I may not have explained myself. Converting to another format is not the problem. At the moment I have Husqvarna's Customizing Pro. I would like to resize a couple of patterns without messing up the count stitch and density. I know I can do it with Husqvarna's Stitch Editor, but they want double the money that Buzztools wants for their program. If anyone has used Buzztools for this purpose, I would like to know how it does.
Thank you, and sorry for the confusion

Thanks Tatiana,
Do you have a link to Smart Sizer Gold? I haven't heard of that one. We are very new to this. I do the computer work and my wife does the stitchery :-)

I found Smart Sizer Gold at Amazing Designs here:

Yes, looks funny. I think there was an upgrade to SSG, which added the SHV format capabilities, and now I do not see it there. May be it has smth to do with license?... Anyway, there is another very nice place on the net:

Google knows everything!
I have the Viking Rose and use the VIP Customizer. With it, when I save a design, I have an option to save in formats other than VIP, such as HUS, PES, SEW, etc. Have you tried to save it in a different format? Just look at the format field & check to see if there is a drop-down box to allow for optional formats.
