I got a really good one that was free and works just like the windows program that comes with your computer. It's called The Ultimate Explorer from the Vikant-Emb.

Herb,

could you please contact me via email? I'd like to ask your opinion on couple of programs

posting to a public newsgroup when I was only interested in a single person's opinion seemed inappropriate to me

sorry I bothered you

I, for one, would like to see several reports and opinions about various software programs for embroidiers. There are a ton of them out there, like PE-5. Supposedly a great program but has a terrible learning curve.
