I like my Pfaff 7560 very much and wouldn't change for any other one on the market right now, not even the latest Pfaff. I have 2 cousins who are sisters, one loves her Bernina and the other her Janome. A few hints in looking for a new machine. Buying a sewing machine is like buying a car. Get online, look at the different machines to get an idea of what you want the machine to do, embroidery only or a combo of sewing/embroidery. Then visit different dealers with some scraps you will likely use most of the time and try them out. A word of warning though, if the dealer won't allow you to try the machine yourself, run, don't walk away from him/her. They will not be much to help you later. You should get lessons from the dealer on proper usage. Emily

You will get used to whatever you buy. Some easier, some take a little longer. Go for the user friendly one.

Don't get "tech whipped" by the sales people demonstrating the machine. Some are really slick/ polished operators and the skill makes the machine look shiny!

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I had something similar happen to me when I was shopping for my serger.
