EXP+ format

I would like to write a digitizing program for a class project. I need to be able to save files in EXP + format. Does anyone know where I can find the specifications of the format. I'm looking for information of how the file saves the (x,y) coordinates of each stitch, and the command to stop for a color change. I know the color information is saved in the .INF file that together with the .EXP file make up the EXP+ format, so information on the specification of the INF format will help tremendously.

BTDT. I can't tell you anything about the INF part, but the structure of EXP is quite straight forward. It's more or less 2 (signed) bytes for normal stitches and 4 for jumps / color changes with are indicated by

0x80 as the first byte. Here's a web site with some explanations:
