having trouble embroidering on tulle

I'm sure there is an easy solution to this one but I haven't found it yet. What kind of stabilizer do I use for tulle? Is there an easy way to do this? One of the big problems I'm having is with my automatic thread cutter. It'll cut teh thread then either the top thread pops out of hte needle or the bobbin thread doesbn't get picked up (or both) and by the time I get the error message, or realize it, the stabilizer and/or tulle is torn to bits in the area that didn't get embroidered.

This is driving me nuts! It's just a little dragonfly with only 2 colors. Less than 2" square.

If it matters, I have a Pfaff 2140.

TIA,

Emma

Try using 2 layers of water soluble stabilizer underneath and 2 layers on top. Hope this helps.
