Hoop-it-all

I am new to machine embroidery and find hooping to be the most difficult part of it. Can anyone who has used Hoop-It_All tell me what their experience has been? I don't want to invest in it without hearing from some actual users.

I own a hoop-it-all and find it indispensable for doing all over embroidery, many small things such as napkins and pattern parts, and large patterns that I have split into small sections. It is so much easier to not rehoop all the time and the sides have markers that tell you exactly where you should move the hoop to for the next stage.

I'd be lost without it as most of my embroidery is on garments that I am constructing. not solos designs on ready made items. It was especially helpful when I made a pair of linen trousers with all -over squiggles and x's ( white on white). I can also get eight linen napkins at a time (corners only) for embroidering which make great wedding gifts.

I also make my own labels and can do two dozen at a time on satin ribbon of different colors. Hope this helps.

I think the Hoop-it-all is great. I bought it to do hats, but now use it for many items. I rarely use the regular hoop anymore.

Mounting the sticky-back stabilizer on the Hoop-it-all takes little time, and then you can stick any small item to it to embroider. I bought my hoop on Ebay from a place that still had some of the older metal ones. The new Hoop-it-alls are plastic.
