hoop it all products question

Hello I am contemplating purchasing one of these hoop it all products to increase the embroidery field of my machine. Looking for comments from people who have and use these. I have Embird software for splitting designs to fit these hoops. Thank you for any info you can provide. Pollyanna

I purchased the Giant Hoop It All for my Kenmore 19001, and love it. I do however haven't used it that much, but boy it did come in handy when I had to put 2 or more files together, and just slid the hoop into position, or onto the next side. Mine does take 12 designs for the Kenmore. I would say it is worth the money. I also bought the Cap Hoop, and that was a waste for me, I have tried to embroider on caps, and they just didn't come out right, don't know if I did something wrong, but did notice that the hoop bounced around allot when I did try it. The Sticky back stabilizer (Stick it all) is not supposed to gum up your needle but I have used it and it does. You can use it sucessfully by keeping a eye on the needle. If you see a "ball" of adhesive, stop your machine and scrape it off with your fingernail. It will come off easily and then continue with your design. Works just fine. TIZME

I have the Hoop-it-all (metal version) and love it. I hardly ever use my regular two-part hoops anymore.

Using the sticky-back stabilizer allows me to embroidery on hard-to-hoop items (not just hats). I've used it for small items (socks, shirt cuffs), to large items (balsa wood, floor mats).

About once a month I take some "Goo Gone" cleaner to the back of the hoop to clean off the stabilizer adhesive.

Thanks for all of the info re the hoop it all products. Now what I want to know is, can I do a design that is too large for my machine's sewing field but split into parts with these hoops? Not just a collection of designs all on one hooping but one large design? This is what I really want it for.

yes you can, if I can find a project I did, I had to put it into 4 files just to get it to come out the way the ppl wanted it to. it was the name of their snow shoe club, plus the city and state. let me look around for that. no not on my HD, probably on a cd somewhere, will look for it later, and then maybe get to post that for you. for my machine, the Kenmore 19001, it has 12 fields for me to make 1 big embroidery field, the drawback to mine is the center field...Rose

I would love to see the design you did with the hoop it all hoop! Can you send it to me at snipped-for-privacy@mail.newsfeeds.com That way it won't be an inconvenience for people who don't like files on this group. Thanks!
