I have a CD with 20 1" designs--I transferred them to a floppy disk to use in Designer1. I thought I'd like to make a line of same stitch and found that the machine won't let me use the 100mm x100mm hoop--it wants me to use a smaller hoop which I don't have. Do I have to go back to Customizer to change hoop size for each and every one and then go back to disk manager? There ought to be an easier way! Sandy
Ron and Sandy, You do not have to go back to a computer to change the hoop sizes. First thing is make sure your Designer I firmware is up to date, it should be 1.52, if not you need to get the update from Viking and install it. This is because I am not sure what version you would be running and if that version would support this. Once you have loaded your design to be stitched out, you should see it on the screen and on the upper right hand side you should see an icon that looks like a hoop, click it and the list of hoop sizes will appear and you can pick which size hoop you want to use as long as it is bigger than your design.
