Husqvarna Viking Rose Reader/Writer Kit

I need to know what the old Husqvarna Viking Rose reader/writer power cord looks like. A Computer geek came in and put everything in a pile that he didn't know what to do with. What does it say on it? What is it's voltage. I'm trying to install it to an old computer. I have everything working but the ability to send it to the card. Thank you.

The Reader/Writer's power cord is a transformer, with input 120VAC

60Hz, 9 Watt. Output is 12VAC 500mA. The connector is a standard small round plug-in. The one we have appeard to be generic and is labeled only "OEM AC Adaptor, Model No. AA-1250.

The installation requires a dongle - a small piece of hardware with a large cable connecter on each side. Some current Windows operating systems (e.g. Windows 7) may have difficulty recognizing the dongle.

I don't know if versions newer than ours are different, but the reader-writer we have connects to the computer's parallel port.

The wiring on our set-up is

ReaderWriter --> Dongle --> Parallel Cable --> ParallelPortOnComputer
