Kim new machine

Hi:

I just bought a quantum futura ce200. It does embroidering as well as plain sewing. I like you couldn't justify buying a better machine when I am just learning to do this fancy embroidery.

I bought the machine on sale and can not complain...My computer so far has made the embroidery machine work like a charm.. The cost was very reasonable for the machine and all parts and attachments you get. Good Luck... tweety take out no spam

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you like the machine. I haven't purchased one yet, but this is the machine I plan on buying after we move. I've joined two Yahoo message groups dedicated to this machine, and I really haven't come across too many people that say they *don't* like it, or regret buying it.

And, again, as I see you understand, I think for the price it's pretty much all I'll need to learn on. If I find that I outgrow it, or get really proficient and industrious at making things, I will upgrade to the Husky Designer 1.

But, for now, it should be enough for me.

I do have a few questions, if you don't mind me picking your brain!

Do you find the included Autopunch easy to use? Do you think that the "extra" accessory software (Hyperfont, Cross Stitch and Photo) would be worth the investment? Do you think Embird or one of the other digitizing software is something you'll need, or does the included software seem to be sufficient?

Oh - and do you have a special sewing table? I still am looking into getting one of those, but I don't know where to begin to look for one.

Thanks!

Kim
