The PE-150 will not embroider any design larger than 100x100mm (4x4 inches approx.) no matter how big your frame is. If you have a bigger design, you can use your software to split the design into pieces no larger than

100x100mm, but you will have to rehoop for each piece and line it all up - no easy task, although it can be done. If you have the multi-position hoop for the 150 you can do a somewhat larger design without rehooping, but even then you are limited to 100 mm in with - length is about 6 1/2 inches (have no idea what that translates into in metric!).

Unfortunately, you cannot embroider a design larger than 100x100mm with this machine. You may want to search on this newsgroup and see if you can find past posts on splitting the design and embroidering it in two phases.

Some have talked about using the large hoop and splitting the design so you don't have to rehoop.

You have a great machine! I've had my PE-150 for over two years and I haven't had any problems yet :) If I upgrade, I will go with another Brother that has a bigger embroidery area.

get the Embird2003 software and split the design in two pieces or more get an adjustable large hoop for the Brother PE series machine and just slide the hoop when the next section is to be stitched. Tutorials are available on the Embird site for doing all these things but most of all have FUN
