Question from a Newbie

I'm new to machine embroidery and sort of lost. Once I have finished embroidering, do I just cut the loose threads in front and back? I've heard people talking about pulling them through to the back and "tying off" Do I do this? If so, how? I would appreciate any advice!

I cut them from the front, if your machine does a machine knot then alright to cut them, if it doesn't do a know, then I would pull them thru and tie in the back. I leave the threads alone on the back, as long as ppl won't see the back. maybe others will post their thoughts also

Maine-iac Rose @->-- remove the thorns so you don't get pricked, and add a hyphen between the 2 words to email me.

Peggy, The only threads I cut on the back is the bobbin lead, and any jump stitches, they sometimes cause distortion of the design by pulling the fabric. Never had a problem with threads pulling out or coming undone.
