Hi. We are going to be embroidering bookmarks for a local library sale. What is a good material to use for this? We have used felt, but were wondering what anyone else has used. Thanks for any info. : )

I have recently completed 10 bookmarks to give to the nurses who looked after me in hospital after my operation last week. I used a heavy iron -on stabilizer with a thick cotton fabric, fitted 5 sideways in my 6"x10" hoop, two hoopings, used a simple design and added each person's name to their bookmark. My daughter who is a nurse at the same hospital tells me they were a great hit.
