Stabilizer question

I recently purchased a Brother PE150 machine and in the package was some iron-on tear away stabilizer. I love the stuff! I can iron on a little piece, then when I'm finished embroidering, I can tear the remaining away. Problem is, I love it so much I am running out. Can someone give me the name of the product they use and where they buy it? Thank you.

Call your Brother dealer and I am sure he/she can tell you the brand name of that one as there are several on the market. I use Sulky almost exclusively including (1) Stiffy, a crisp, firm Tear-Away, (2) Tear Easy, a soft, lightweight Tear-Away and (3) Totally Stable, an iron-on Tear Away. My DD does lots of embroidery and usually buys enough stabilizer for me when she buys hers as I don't do much embroiderying anymore. I think she gets Sulky from her local Hancock's, there is no Jo-Ann's in Memphis, TN.. Emily .

I use stiffy, thats an iron on stabliser, mine comes pre - cut

21cms wide which amazingly fits up to the largest hoop on the Janome machine.

Stiffy seems to hold just about anything in place, including stretch materials,Its strong enough to take items being re-hooped ( i have done one 3 times) and is dead easy to tear away when you finish I havent used another stabliser since trying this stiffy and havent found anything yet that it wont stablise.

In the USA, Stiffy is the name of the Sulky's crisp, firm tear-away. Emily
