Viking #1 cards

Hi Sharon

I have that machine(in U.K it's the Orchedia) which I bought new about 5-6 yrs ago. The cards come either with designs already on them or better is to buy a programable ones. I am not sure of the price of them now but when the machine was newer they were around £70-80 for progamable one with designs already on there. You can download the designs onto the computer (if you have software) and then clear the card and put different designs onto it ready to embroider. I find that the cards last, I have only had to change one of the 3 I have. Husqvarna have just brought out a new machine Designer SE, there is also the D1 which are both higher spec than the #1. I find it is a good reliable machine, but would get some advice from your local Husqvarna dealer before buying.

Also check what you get with the machine you are thinking of buying, e.g reader/writer, software, designs etc. there are only what size hoops you get. You will find on the web site that the #1 accessories are available but not the machine. The machine was replaced by the Designer II.
