I'm no longer using a glass bead kit I purchased several years ago and so I'm offering it for sale. Over time, I've added to this kit and it is thus now quite extensive. This kit is for making glass beads on cylindrical copper cores and includes:
51 colors of powdered glass (each approx. 3/4 of a film congtainer in volume) 14 colors of finely ground glass (each approx. 3/4 of a film container in volume) 3 film container's worth of powdered flux 4 metal plates, each 2" x 2" (to protect your worksurface) metal tweezers 8 metal rods for holding the beads while they are being made aluminum ashtry used to hold newly finished beads Thompson Enamel catalog (supplier for many of the materials in this kit) Approx. 1,100 (yes, 1,100!) polished pure copper cores (each .5" in length)A propane torch is necessary to make these beads.
