fusing with a drop mold

I have a 6" fluted drop mold and have been trying to make flower shaped piece where the glass has slumped about 3" in the center . the trouble I have been having is the glass moves in the mold when it is slumped , pulling the glass in from one side . I have tried single and double thick glass . any one know the secret ? I have tried both bullseye and spectrum glass .

Not sure if I understand but... Use a lower temp, go slower. I slump System 96 at 1180F.

Possibly uneven temperature. One side is hotter than the other and is slumping unevenly.

Try bringing it up to temp slower, and soak it just below your target temp for a more controlled slump.
