Glastar II has 1/4 bit, but lacks table--why?

The Glastar II has a 1/4 inch bit, but without the table or a similar way to wet the diamond surface of the 1/4 inch bit, like the standard

3/4 inch bit, it seems like a strange add-on.

If the secondary table is an option, why isn't the 1/4 inch bit. Not complaining that it is not an option, but seems like the secondary table (that costs $14 it seems) should be part of the package.

Hi, I use the 1/4 inch bit quite often. I just use a wet sponge an let it run over the glass as I grind it. Works fine for me. I find that if you are trying to make a deep notch it works better if you make it slightly wider than the bit.

I use a wet sponge in the back side of the bit too. Works fine for me. Just need to keep moving it around to a clean part of the sponge is always doing its job. Tomes
