I am wanting to do a project where I take a picture glue it between two panes of glass and then mount in a wooden stand. Could anyone recomend how to do this, what kind of glass and adhesive to use?

What is the point of having two panes of glass. front and back? Is there something worthwhile on the back side of the photo that needs to be seen?

What's usually done is putting the pic between 2 pieces of window glass, and then wrapping both in copper foil, or lead channel to hold them together. No glue is needed, unless you're including pressed flowers.
