Just wanted to thank everyone

all of you who have been so kind to offer advice and suggestions over the past couple of weeks.. i want to thank you very much.

my studio is essentially finished! and it's WONDERFUL...and unbelievably, we did it for next to nothing. everything in there was remodeled, redesigned from other parts of the house and outdoor studio (that was not much more than a tool shed, a dumping ground for everything we had no place for!!!). the only thing we bought except for nails and screws, was a full sheet of all-weather MDF that was used for the tops of the work surfaces..

tomorrow the materials, etc. will hopefully arrive via Cargo and the weekend will be spent 'playing' in my first glass studio in 18 years!! do you think it's like riding a bike? will i remember everything i once knew?

we'll see!!!

let the adventure begin. i already have two customers waiting!! is this terrific or what? no competition for at least 300 miles in any direction!

thanks again.

Arlene the goddess of glass!! hahaha...

sure...and crazy glue .. actually, i've ordered some special tape to use when i'm grinding glass... it may be a total waste of money, but it wasn't all that much...

i didn't get cut all that often...at least not seriously...when i had my first studio...so i think i'll be fine this time as well.

ar.
